How it works

One call sets the whole loop in motion.

No apps to learn before you're a member, no contractor roulette. Here's exactly what happens from the moment something breaks.

  1. 1

    You call (361) 704-1373

Or request help from your member portal. Describe the problem — photos help if you have them. Not sure which trade you need? That's fine; triage is part of the job. If it's an emergency, say so: member emergency triage is never gated, on any plan, at any hour.

  2. 2

We match you to the bench and book it

The job goes to a vetted local provider for that trade in your town, scheduled against their real calendar — providers connect the calendar they already use, so the appointment you get is a real one. You confirm the time; before the visit, a meet-your-tech text sends the tech's name, photo, and ETA.

  3. 3

The work gets done — and you pay the pro

Your membership's included dispatches cover the dispatch fee (2, 4, or 6 a year by plan). The repair itself is billed by the provider at your member rate — 10%, 15%, or 20% off the published rate card — and you pay the provider directly. The Alliance never touches that money and never marks it up.

  4. 4

The paperwork lands in your Vault — then we ask

Every job carries a required paperwork checklist: photos, the invoice or a $0 note, the relevant forms. The provider files them into your BABA Vault from the job screen, and the job cannot close until the checklist is complete — no silent “done” with missing proof. The moment it closes, you get one review request. Tell it straight; reviews are moderated and published with your consent.

The BABA Vault

Why the paperwork rule matters

Ask any homeowner where the invoice for their last AC repair is. That's the problem the Vault solves. Your Home Profile and every job's documents live in one organized record — by job, by system — so warranty questions, insurance claims, and the next breakdown all start from facts instead of a junk drawer.

It's also how the Pass keeps its own promise honest: a job that isn't documented isn't finished, and everyone — you, the provider, the Alliance — can see the same record.
