The most common Saturday in Texas: the AC quits first.

Saturday, 2 p.m.

The AC quits. The house is warming up. Who do you call?

Off plan, a breakdown starts a scavenger hunt — search results, weekend rates, a stranger's truck in the driveway, and a receipt you'll never find again.

With the Pass, it's one call. We dispatch the right trade from the Alliance bench, a meet-your-tech text tells you who's coming and when, you pay the pro directly at your member rate — and the job's photos and paperwork land in your BABA Vault before it's considered done.

The rate card is published. Your discount — 10%, 15%, or 20% by plan — comes off real, printed prices. No mystery math.

How it works

Four steps. One of them is yours.

  1. 01

    You call

One number — (361) 704-1373 — or a tap in your member portal. Tell us what's wrong.

  2. 02

    We match & schedule

The right trade from the local bench, booked against their real calendar. You get the appointment and a meet-your-tech text.

  3. 03

    The pro handles it

The work gets done and you pay the pro directly, at your member rate. We never touch the money in between.

  4. 04

    It's documented

Photos and paperwork are filed in your BABA Vault — a job can't close without them. Then we ask how it went.

“A job isn't done until the paperwork is in your Vault.” — the rule every Pass job closes under

Documented, or it isn't closed

Every job has a required paperwork checklist. The provider files the photos and documents into your Vault before the job can close — and closing is what sends your review request.

Reviews you can trust, because they're earned

Review requests go out automatically after real, closed jobs — and only then. When member reviews appear on this site, every one of them traces to a documented job. No bought stars, ever.

Run by people who live here

Homeowner Pass is a program of the Bay Area Business Alliance — local businesses, vetting local pros, answering a local number. The bench framing is the honest one: Licensed · Insured · Local.

The Home Profile

Your house, on record — before anything breaks.

At signup, we document your home's systems from their nameplates — AC, water heater, panel, appliances, roof. That profile lives in your BABA Vault and works for you all year:

  • Age alerts — “your water heater is 11 years old” lands before the flood does, with what a replacement runs at member rates.
  • Recall alerts — matched to the equipment you actually own.
  • Faster dispatches — the pro arrives already knowing your system.
  • It transfers when you sell — your buyer inherits the record, free.

What is Homeowner Pass?

Homeowner Pass is a membership with the Bay Area Business Alliance for Coastal Bend homeowners. When something breaks, you make one call to (361) 704-1373. We dispatch a vetted local pro from the Alliance bench, you pay that pro directly at your member rate, and every job's paperwork is filed in your BABA Vault. One number, local pros, published prices, documented work.

Is Homeowner Pass a home warranty?

No. Homeowner Pass is a membership and coordination service run by the Bay Area Business Alliance, a local business alliance here in the Coastal Bend. You get a documented Home Profile, one dispatch number, member pricing on a published rate card, and a local bench of vetted pros. The money for any repair goes from you straight to the pro who did the work — we coordinate it and document it.

How much does it cost?

Three memberships: Protection Pass is $12 a month or $132 a year, Home Shield is $59 a month or $649 a year, and Total Home Concierge is $99 a month or $1,089 a year. Every membership starts with a one-time $29 activation. Repairs themselves are paid by you directly to the provider, at your member discount — 10%, 15%, or 20% off the published rate card, depending on your plan.
